The lecturers are from University of Bologna (IT)Technische Universität Braunschweig (GE)Dublin City University (IR)Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (GE)Université Catholique de Louvain (BE) and Polaris Wireless (CA, USA). The course is supported by the European COST Action 15104 “IRACON” and by the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation.

The course covers propagation theory - with a special focus on Ray Tracing and full wave modelling, channel characterization for medium/short range wireless systems and services, including millimeter wave and Terahertz radio propagation for 5G, as well as aspects related to MIMO and UWB technologies for wireless body area networks, medical and short range radar applications.

The registration fee is 440€ for students and 880€ for engineers from the industry, and include tuition, course material, coffee breaks and a social event. The course will give PhD students 2 ECTS credits.
