Master Degree in Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering (AAEE)

The Master Degree in Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering is a Second-cycle, two-year Programme fully-taught in English

Programme will run only following the completion of the established ministerial procedure.

The Master Degree in Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering (A2E2) fits within a cooperation between the main Emilia- Romagna Universities and the most important
companies involved in the design and manufacturing of cars and motorcycles in the premium and sport sector such as Automobili Lamborghini Spa, Dallara Automobili SpA, Ducati Motor Holding Spa, FCA Group - Maserati e Alfa Romeo, Ferrari Spa, Magneti Marelli Spa, Scuderia Toro Rosso Spa.
The aim of the Master is to train electronic engineers with a thorough knowledge of methods and tools that make Electronics the foundation of systems for the collection, processing,
transmission and storing of information, with particular emphasis on the subsystems deployed both in nowadays vehicles and in future developments.
The study programme includes strong contacts with the other disciplines involved in the overall design of the vehicle, so that the engineer is able to comprehend, propose and adapt
to the automotive field what has been developed in the wide sector of Information and Communication Technologies. The engineer will play the fundamental role of leading innovator
in a field that will increasingly depend on such technologies in the future.

Career opportunities
The Programme is organized in close collaboration with local companies in the automotive sector to allow a seamless employment in high level roles of the production environment concerned with vehicles and their technologies. The cultural background focused on Electronics , meant as the founding language of all information technologies, allows also employment in all those contexts that rely on digital devices applied to physical systems for signal acquisition, processing, and control. The ability of communicating with other engineering disciplines makes of the graduate in this Master the ideal candidate for the role of project manager in the conception, design, realization and maintenance of complex systems, whose functionalities depend on the interaction
of multiple and heterogeneous subsystems with electronic components.
